The album, released on March 20, 2001, features ten songs, which are all written by the singer of Dashboard Confessional, Chris Carrabba. The album has been certified Gold by RIAA, meaning it sold over 500,000 copies in the United States.

"Screaming Infidelities" and "Again I Go Unnoticed" both originally appeared on the band's first album The Swiss Army Romance. "Standard Lines" was used on a very special episode of Clone High.
