Gianni Canisso, better known in the Latin American hip-hop scene as Bubaseta, is an MC born in Switzerland who moved to Chile at the age of 10. He has become well-known for his unique voice and distinctive style of rapping. In 2007, he left his group Ninja Sekta and embarked on a solo career, releasing three independent albums.
Bubaseta initially started his music career by rapping in Federación Alkatraz and was part of a collective called Sindikato, which included groups like Nueva Rima, CJ Budumen, and various members like Vicio, A.R.S.E., Largo, Mob, Kestalle, Ruso, Nega, among others. In 2004, he formed the group Ninja Sekta, and together they released an album called "Super Ninjas," which significantly boosted their popularity. They performed on various stages across Chile, and Bubaseta's distinct and unconventional voice added to his growing popularity, as it was quite unusual for the rap scene at that time.
