Halle Bailey, known simply as Halle, is an Atlanta-born singer, songwriter, and actress who rose to popularity in the late 2010s as one-half of the R&B sisters duo Chloe x Halle. In 2023 she played the lead role in Disney's live-action version of The Little Mermaid. In addition to singing on its soundtrack, Halle released her first solo single, the Grammy-nominated "Angel," that same year.
