Chuck Prophet & The Mission Express is a rock and roll band from San Francisco, California, fronted by singer-songwriter Chuck Prophet. Prophet has been a staple of the Bay Area music scene since the 1980s, first gaining attention as a member of the band Green on Red. He launched his solo career in the 1990s and formed The Mission Express in the early 2000s.

The band's sound is a blend of rock, country, and soul, with Prophet's distinctive vocals and guitar work at the forefront. They have released over a dozen albums, including the critically acclaimed "Bobby Fuller Died for Your Sins" in 2017, which pays homage to the late rock and roll musician Bobby Fuller.

Chuck Prophet & The Mission Express are known for their energetic live performances and have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. The current lineup of the band includes Prophet on guitar and vocals, Stephanie Finch on keyboards and vocals, Kevin White on bass, and Vicente Rodriguez on drums.
