VENUES is a German post-hardcore band from Stuttgart, founded in 2015. VENUES was founded in 2015 under the name Break Down a Venue in the state capital of Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. The band currently consists of clean vocalist Daniela 'Lela' Gruber, unclean vocalist Robin Baumann, guitarist Valentin Hahnemann and drummer Dennis Vanhöfen.
The band themselves describe their music as post-hardcore, emphasizing Nyves' clear female vocals as a special feature. The style is similar to that of the German Melodic Death Metal band Deadlock. In the music, the band worked with classic stylistic elements of metalcore and post-hardcore and combined them with the vocals of their first frontwoman Nyves.
