Artist Biography Available in: Thomas Albertus Irnberger (born 1985 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian violinist .
At the age of 15, Irnberger made his debut at the Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels as a soloist in Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto . In 2004 he signed an exclusive contract with Gramola . By 2018 he had recorded 40 CDs. His chamber music partners were Paul Badura-Skoda , Jörg Demus , Michael Korstick , David Geringas , Barbara Moser , Pavel Kašpar and Edoardo Torbianelli. Since 2008, Thomas Albertus Irnberger has concentrated on researching and rediscovering "ostracized composers". In the course of this he gave the first performance of Hans Gál 's Violin Concerto in Israel.
