Manuel Magrini is a young Umbrian pianist who graduated from the F. Morlacchi Conservatory in Perugia, he soon became interested in jazz music, which he began studying and studying, followed by Ramberto Ciammarughi, collaborating with many groups and holding concerts both in Italy and abroad. At the Fara Music Festival he won the award for best soloist and best group with his trio, while in the pop field he won the 2010 Rai Demo competition led by Michel Pergolani and Renato Marengo, as instrumentalist and co-arranger in the Tom Bangura group.
Since 2014 he is part of the National Orchestra of Young Talents of Jazz organized by the Teatro Puccini of Florence, Siena Jazz and Music Pool, made up of the best students of the jazz department of all the Conservatories of Italy with whom he has already played in important stages like the Piccolo Strehler theater in Milan and the Obi Hall in Florence; in the same year Manuel wins a scholarship at the Fara Music Festival to study at the Collective School of Music in New York.
In 2016 he released his first cd in solo piano "Unexpected" for the label Encore Jazz by Roberto Lioli.
In June 2017 he won the prestigious Lelio Luttazzi Award for best young Italian jazz pianist.
