Available in:
Reinoud van Mechelen was born in 1987 in Louvain. He began singing in the Clari Cantuli children's choir and took lessons from 2005. He obtained his master's degree in music and completed his training during several workshops and masterclasses. The tenor stood out during the 2007/2008 season as Plutus in Le Carnaval et la Folie de Destouches under the direction of Hervé Niquet at the Opéra Comique de Paris or in Reims . The role of Zéphir returns to him in Atys de Lully three years later in Bordeaux . It integrates Le Jardin des Voix by William Christie and Paul Agnew in 2011 and quickly established himself as a regular soloist of Les Arts Florissants .
