Zoufris Maracas is a French music group.
The group is formed by two childhood friends of Sète origin , Vincent Sanchez, dit Vin's, and Vincent Allard, dit Micho . The name of the Zoufris group is a reference to Algerian workers who came to work in France in the 1950s . Before forming a music group, the two friends travel to North Africa and set up an association for traveling cinema. At the time, they resume for fun some arias by Brassens and Brel . A few years later, in Paris, Vin's then worked for Greenpeace and recruited members in the street. Micho who had gone to live in Mexico for a while3 joined him there. It was in 2007 that they started playing in the Paris metro in duo where they got noticed by Julio Rodriguez, independent producer, who introduced them to François Causse, drummer.
