Radio Elvis is a French rock band from Paris. Formed in 2013, it is composed of Pierre Guénard (song and guitar), Manu Ralambo (electric guitar and bass) and Colin Russeil (battery-claviers).
Originally from Poitou, the singer and leader of the group, Pierre Guénard moved to Paris in 2009 and composed his first songs under the name Radio Elvis. Radio Elvis took its current form four years later. The group participated in the "Radio Crochet Inter", organized by France Inter in 2013 and reached the final of the SOSH-Les Inrocks Lab contest. They won numerous other awards in 2015, the jury prize of the INOUIS du Printemps de Bourges , the Charles Cros Prize and others.
In 2013, they released 500 copies of an EP Just before the rush, thanks to crowdfunding, which they sent to record companies and sold after their concerts. Just before the rush reappeared in 2014 at PIAS.
A second EP, called Les Moissons, was published in 2015.
Their first album, Les Conquestes, was released on April 1, 2016.
