Fábio Zanon ( Jundiaí , March 6 , 1966 ) is a Brazilian guitarist .
Fábio Zanon began studying guitar in his hometown of Jundiaí under the guidance of his father and Professor Antonio Guedes. He graduated in music at the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1987, studying with Edelton Gloeden and Henrique Pinto. In 1990, he continued his studies under the guidance of Michel Lewin at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he obtained his master's degree in music from the University of London and participated in the series of master-classes of Julian Bream .
Fábio Zanon was the winner of the 30th " Francisco Tárrega " contest and the 14th American Guitar Foundation Contest (GFA) . In 1997 he received the Moinho Santista Prize and received the title of Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in London where he also serves as a visiting professor.
