Artist Biography
Available in: gb icon
Three school mates, Clarke Finn (drums), Matt Grave (bass), Tim Emanuelle (guitar), met up with Wil Ridley (vocals) to give a new band a try. The name "The Grahams" stuck after trying to come up with a name for the band; it was jokingly suggested as a reference to an infamous maths teacher.
The Warrnambool (Australia) rock-funk group plays in pubs and other events around the town, with a mixture of originals and covers. Some of their most notable songs are "Hit & Miss", "Montage", "Day of Roses", and "SOLDier for War". They draw influences from groups including Rage Against the Machine, Midnight Oil, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many others. Fellow Warrnambool group The Extreme Sprinklers, now know as The 80 Aces, has been an inspirational and guiding influence since The Grahams' outset.

Several years later, Clarke Finn found The Grahams on LastFM, and was unsure who set the account up. Regardless, he added the now infamous Bucket of Snakes track to the site and put it up for free download! .
