Ansley grew up in Atlanta, the youngest of four kids in a very athletic, competitive, sports driven household. But when she showed no interest in following in the footsteps of her siblings, her mother enrolled her in singing and music lessons at a young age. At the age of 7, Ansley started piano lessons, and vocal lessons at the renowned Jan Smith Studio under the tutelage of Lisa Rosemond.

Writing songs came naturally to her. Ansley explains, “Music gets me through the toughest times. I sit at the keyboard when I can’t sleep and write about things that are on my mind. Growing up the youngest in a large competitive family, sometimes it’s hard to make your voice heard- and music was my way of doing that.” Her debut EP “Ansley” is a collection of songs about teenage romance and breakup. The EP showcases Ansley’s flair for memorable melodies inserted into modern pop beats. Currently Ansley is working on new music in hopes to release her second project in 2018
