Christensen has noted the Danish and international jazz scene with the Danish Jakob Bro trio, consisting of guitarist Jakob Bro , drummer Jacob Høyer and bassist Anders Christensen. In addition, Anders Christensen has played with a Polish trumpeter Tomasz Stanko in his quote , where Jakob Bro also plays. Anders Christensen is also a part of Jakob Dinesen's trio, and previously a regular member of drummer Paul Motian's ensemble. He has played concerts with Tom Harrell , Joe Lovano and Lee Kontiz and others.
In November 2009 he released the first release in his own name titled Anders Christensen trio Dear Someone . Anders Christensen's trio consists of drummer Paul Motian and pianist Aaron Parks .
Anders Christensen uses different electric basses, often Fender Precision Basses of Older Date. He uses Ampeg and Fender base stations.
