Joan Chamorro ( 1962 ) is a Catalan musician. He studied the classic saxophone race at the Conservatori de Barcelona with Professor Adolf Ventas . Parallel to studies at the conservatory, he obtained the title of Superior Degree at the Barcelona Music Workshop.
It is part of a called Band: Big Band of the Workshop of musicians, with which it acts in several European festivals. In addition, he collaborates with the Big Band of Bellaterra, the Big Band of John Dubuclet, the Big Band Jazz Terrassa, the Supercombo by Eladio Reinón- Tete Montoliu, the Radio Televisión Española Orchestra, accompanies the Manhattan Transfer and Stevie Wonder ...
Apart from that, he also works on several projects with the Orquesta del Teatre Lliure. For a year, he collaborated with the Comediants theater group , with whom he performed at festivals in cities such as New York, Santiago de Chile, Paris, Venice ... He also plays in most of the festivals taking place in Spain ( Barcelona, ​​Terrassa, San Sebastián, Madrid ...).
