Nicoletta "Nicky" Nicolai ( Rome , 28 January 1960 ) is a singer of Italian light music .
Beginnings :
He made his debut in 1988 in the female group Compilations , participating in the television program Domenica In , under the direction of Gianni Boncompagni . His solo debut album, from 2004, is titled Tutto passa .
It is known to the general public thanks to its participation in the 2005 Sanremo Festival together with Stefano Di Battista Jazz Quartet with "The Mystery of Love" , which wins in the Groups category and arrives fourth in the final classification.
In February 2006 he took part with Stefano Di Battista Jazz Quartet on the transmission of Canale 5 The meaning of life presented by Paolo Bonolis and Luca Laurenti .
In 2006 he participated for the second consecutive year at the Festival, this time as a soloist in the Women category with the song You have the night . Immediately after the Festival comes out the album L'altalena . In 2008 she had a daughter by her husband Stefano Di Battista , Flora.
