Anima Eterna is a Belgian symphony orchestra founded in 1987 by Jos van Immerseel, in residence at the Concertgebouw in Bruges (Belgium).
In 1987, Jos van Immerseel founded, with some instrumentalists gathered around him two years earlier, a baroque ensemble with which he interpreted the historical orchestrations of repertoire on ancient instruments. Over the years, its staff has grown to become a symphony orchestra and its repertoire has expanded to the classical repertoire, romantic and finally contemporary.
