Spanish singer, born in 1934 and of Valencian origin. In 1952 he began to study guitar. Exiled to France, as a result of the Spanish civil war, he began his artistic career outside the Spanish borders. Paco Ibáñez is recognized for being one of the most outstanding singers who has carried in his songs beautiful poems of both Spanish and foreign poets; Rafael Alberti, Luis de Góngora, Blas de Otero, Gabriel Celaya, Miguel Hernández or Francisco de Quevedo are just a small sample of the sources in which Paco Ibáñez has been inspired to music songs that have penetrated deep into the minds of many people who admire
