"Laurence Fox" (born 26 May 1978) is an English actor, singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known for his leading role as Detective Inspector James Hathaway in the British TV drama series Lewis from 2006 to 2015.
Best known as an actor, he is also a surprisingly gifted musician with an exceptional talent for songwriting. His low, gruff vocals perfectly captures the emotions conveyed in beautiful songs that are wonderfully written and expertly played and sung.
