Samson (Danny Verbiest) and Gert (Gert Verhulst) are the two main characters of the famous Belgian TV show called 'Samson en Gert'. Samson and Gert live together at house number 101. Some of the major characters in this show are Alberto Vermicelli (aka Meneer Spaghetti), Octaaf de Bolle (aka Meneer de Raaf), Janine de Bolle (aka Mevrouw Praline), Meneer de Burgemeester and Eugene van Leemhuyzen (aka Meneer van Veel Luizen, Meneer van Vleermuizen). In 2006 Danny Verbiest quit Studio 100 and was replaced by Peter Thyssen. Some famous phrases of these TV shows are "Aja, ik moest kloppen want de bel doet het niet"(I had to knock cause the bell doesn't work) and "Ten eerste is het Alberto, en ten tweede..."(In the first place it's Albertó, and secondly...). "Aan allen die gekomen zijn: Proficiat. Aan allen die niet gekomen zijn: ook proficiat"(To everyone who came: Congratulations. To everyone who hasn't come: Also congratulations) Both the shows and the songs are created by Studio 100 (founded by Gert Verhulst, Danny Verbiest en Hans Bourlon).
