Artist Biography Available in: Dizzy Man's Band was founded in the Dutch city of Zaandam in 1970. Initially they play a sort of jazz/rock with horns comparable to bands like Blood Sweat & Tears and Chicago. After a while they change direction and turn into an act that combines rock and comedy. This earns the band a fantastic live reputation and their concerts were one big party. They score many hits in their native the Netherlands during the 1970's, with the two biggest ones being "The Show" and "The Opera" which both reach the 2nd position in the Dutch Top 40. They also were popular in Japan and South America. In 1983 the band calls it quits after diminishing success. In the 2009 the band started to perform again with their old hits. Several days, end of march 2015, after their performance in Eindhoven, the founder Jacques Kloes died. This was the end of the Dizzy man's band.
