"Carte Blanche" was a duo of electronic music composed of Riton and DJ Mehdi . 2 EP's and an EP of remixes were released on the Ed Banger Records label. DJ Mehdi died on September 13, 2011, when the skylight of his Paris home collapsed while he was celebrating Riton's birthday with a group of friends.
