Aaron started Djing back in 1998 at various clubs in and around the Saskatoon, Canada area. His trance/techno mix-tapes garnered him Canada-wide recognition as he acquired multiple 5 star reviews in the prestigious TRIBE MAGAZINE out of Toronto.
After scouring the country destroying dance floors, Aaron finally settled back down and dove head-first into production. His first single, SUBVERSION, was quickly snapped up by BK's label manager, SCOTT ATTRILL, and released a few months later. It landed in the Top 10 Trance charts on Trackitdown.net for 8 weeks alongside pioneers ARMIN VAN BUUREN, FERRY CORSTEN and NICK SENTIENCE.
Since then, nearly all of Aaron's releases has landed in one or more charts on BEATPORT, TRACKITDOWN or JUNODOWNLOAD. In fact, his second EP, EQUILIBRIUM, was hailed by BEATPORT as, “...one of the best packages of mixes ever to grace TRAFFIC RECORDS...”
His releases span multiple genre's including Hard Dance, Tech-Trance, Trance, Electro and Techno which have appeared on KUNG FU WAX, NUKLEUZ, RIOT!, TRAFFIC, TECH FU, ELECTRIC SHANDY, CONTACT, GLOBAL STATE, SYSTEM and TRUESPIN RECORDS.
His support list is equally as impressive as some major players have pounded out his genre surpassing music. Included is TIESTO, SCOOTER, GARETH EMERY, RONSKI SPEED, SANDER KLEINENBERG, MARKUS SCHULZ, CHRISTOPHER LAWERENCE, BK, SCOTT ATTRILL, ANNE SAVAGE, LISA LASHES, ALEX KIDD, SCOT PROJECT, LUCA ANTOLINI, FLATLAND FUNK, ORGAN DONORS, ANDY FARLEY, RODI STYLE, and K-90!
If that wasn't enough, his music has also been licensed to multiple compilations including TIDY IBIZA HOT MIX, TRANCE MIAMI 2011, TRANCE ADRENALINE 3, IBIZA TRANCE SESSIONS 2011, RIOT! IN IBIZA 2011 and SCOTT ATTRILL's 'ELECTRIC SHOWCASE'.
Starting in 2011 Aaron's DJ skills once again were noticed by major players as he was asked to compile and mix 3 separate albums for KUNG FU WAX, NUKLEUZ and a 4th was released in early 2012 for RIOT!
His KUNG FU WAX PRESENTS VOL.1 (a 24 track relentless Hard Dance assault) album hit charts on both Trackitdown.net and Junodownload and managed to achieve “COMPILATION OF THE MONTH” in global magazine, MIXMAG
Showcasing, once again, his diverse sound, style and ability to forge multiple songs into one long journey, his NUKLEUZ IN CANADA project showcased Progressive Trance working it's way into Harder Trance in Vol. 1 while Vol. 2 was basically a classic Hard Dance mix featuring many of the massive club anthems that made BK and NICK SENTIENCE household names. The success of this series inspired other national compilations including NUKLEUZ IN HOLLAND and NUKLEUZ IN SOUTH AFRICA.
Riot! put together a 7 CD mix with worldwide support and Aaron was fortunate enough to be included in this project. THIS IS HARD ELECTRIK mixed by SCOTT ATTRILL, ANDREA MONTORSI, BEXTA, JON BISHOP, DIABLIK, LEON B & JOE ROGERS. Aaron slammed together 26 tracks ranging from Electro, Trance, Hard Dance, Techno and, of course, Hard Electrik. Once again, the album hit the charts running and was reviewed in nearly every reputable online magazine around – including, but not limited to, Harderfaster, Cluboverload and Mixmag.
His radio play in the UK has been constant and he's even had airings on BBC RADIO 1!
