Formed late 1999 out of the ashes of Strutter, The Hymies and The Genies.

Aampirellas has toured to Melb/Syd/Adelaide several times and have supported or played with the likes of Rocket Science, The Dwarves, The Dictators, The Datsuns, Sahara Hotnights, The D4, Grant McLennon, Rollerball, Giants of Science, Gazoonga Attack, Powder Monkeys, The Sailors, The Spazzys, Bored!, Pineapples, from the Dawn of Time, Intercooler, Screamfeeder, Spencer P Jones, Monsterous Blues, The Onyas, Warped, Blood Sucking Freaks, Sixfthick, The Drones, The Tremors, The Casanovas (to name-drop just a few..)

Also starred in Andrew Leovold’s schlock-horror porno movie Lesbos Au-go-go that was released this year.
