Akcent's English debut album French Kiss with Kylie was released in Europe on 23 August 2006, and it included their two European hit singles, "Kylie" and "Jokero". Their song "French Kiss" (the English version of "9 mai") is a cover of "[[Extemporal ned. However, in September 2009 after 18 months, Ulici left the band to dedicate his time to his acting career.

Then came the song "Feelings on Fire" which featured Ruxandra Bar and which had a race car video shooted in Romania, on Transfagarasan.
2012 was a busy and successful year for Akcent. In January, Akcent released another single in collaboration with Sandra N, “I’m Sorry.”
