"The original idea for 人形遣い was to put extra emphasis on the listener choosing between allowing themselves to be fully immersed in the tracks or listening to it quietly in the background, not paying much attention. Some of the best music transports you somewhere and makes you feel a certain way, and others are just some lounge music, it's always up to the listener and their personal experiences. This album was made to strike a balance between escaping reality, just some chill beats, or both. " ~ DEATH DEVOIR

"DEATH DEVOIR was originally conceptualized as a mostly dark project having slow tunes and the occasional ambient track having taken inspiration from some of the greats in barber beats. Being new to the scene, the goal for me has been to give people an experience through listening. Creating a different vibe or setting to escape to with every album. You can really make some cool experiences with just the right music and artwork. As of late, I have transitioned into a little more upbeat music as I wanted to switch it up, and those have definitely become some of my favorite albums I've worked on. Overall, this project is all about just having some fun while giving people a good time through music." ~ DEATH DEVOIR
