"This album is dedicated to all of my childhood friends. All the kids I grew up with. All the kids I ran the streets with after school and during the summer. All the best friends. All the bad influences. All the crushes. The kids I hung out with at the park and the kids I only saw at school. Some of those kids aren’t here anymore unfortunately. On those stale summer evenings when I hop on my bike or find myself driving home and I pass the old school or the train tracks or the park, we’re still there. Sitting on our bikes outside the pool, smoking cigarettes on top of the hill at the park, or breaking glass bottles behind the gas station. This album is all dedicated to you, thank you for the memories. I’ll never forget you."
