The sound of Sheffield - not LFO - but 'bassline' or 'niche'. Mixed by Rinse resident, Paleface, showcases this fun, bass-heavy house sound that first appeared in the northern clubs. The term 'niche' evolved from the popularity that this garage/grime offspring had in Sheffield's Niche Club a few years ago. National interest ensued soon after a couple of blindside hits toppled the charts, thus paving the way for bassline's mainstream appeal.

Long-time garage artists including $tush, Dexplicit, Sticky and Gemma Fox are embracing this sound and feature on this 40 track mix!
