Album DescriptionAvailable in:
Six songs from the eighties and a couple from the nineties, popular favorites in their Angeleno karaoke songs in recent times, give rise to a handful of verisones, among which “I Want To Break Free” (Queen), “I ' ll Stand By You ”(The Pretenders) or“ Take My Breath Away ”(Berlin) take on that vaporous vintage-style timelessness that brings her closer than ever to Lana Del Rey. For something, her husband Zack Leigh and her brother Aaron (both in charge of their Babes project, with which they share sound) are on the payroll, along with Brian Hunt and David Greenbaum (the last Beck's sound engineer) . The takes are not a big break from what was offered in that “Agent Cooper” (2013), his last installment so far, but the twang guitars of “It's A Heartache” (Bonnie Tyler), the acoustic review of “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me? " (Culture Club) and the almost spectral piano of “Don't You Want Me” (The Human League), meanwhile, bring new perspectives to a handful of songs that, as well-handled as they have been so far, are not it was easy to expect novel approaches.
