Blackened-death metal titans Necrophobic return off of a four year wait since Death to All with an even stronger and darker record. Womb of Lilithu is an almost perfect follow up to a brilliant record. Each of the tracks as groove laden and evil as we’ve come to expect yet all with their own unique twist. There is something incredibly powerful about the Necrophobic vein of blackened-death. The resounding overlay of evil and intense riff work, the filthy but astoundingly coherent vocal stylings, and the crushing groove that old school death metal is best known for. All of these elements, each impressive on its own, combine brilliantly into what could be Necrophobic’s best album yet.
