"From Nowhere" is the third album by British singer/songwriter Alistair Griffin. Released 7 July 2014 through ELG Records.
This album mixes acoustic guitars with sweeping electronic, with songs like ‘The Greatest’ and ‘Freefall’ before moving to the more tender moments of ‘What If’ and ‘Just Drive’. Both songs were used for big moments on the BBC; ‘What If’, probably the biggest, captured Andy Murray's historic Wimbledon victory drawing praise from around the world with its plaintive “what if” lyric. ‘Just Drive’ was played in full over the BBC's Formula One montage at the end of the 2010 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. and is the title song for Sky Sports' F1 coverage.
"The Road" was the official song of the 2014 Tour de France, which he recorded with Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh.
