Album Description
Available in:
Trouble is the second studio album by English recording artist and songwriter Natalia Kills, released on September 2, 2013 by will.i.am Music Group, Cherrytree Records, Interscope Records and Dandyville. Material for inclusion in the album started to be preparated in April 2012 alongside producers including Jeff Bhasker, Emile Haynie and The Smeezingtons. Influenced by the singer's adolescence and relationships, while being a pop and electro rock record, Trouble represents both a lyrical and a musical departure from the singer's debut Perfectionist, mainly a synthpop album.

The album received generally positive reviews from critics, who highlighted its production, personal content and complimented it as an evolution from her previous album. Criticism went to some album tracks intent on "broadening" the singer's sound. The record debuted at number seventy on the US Billboard 200 chart and sold nearly 6,000 copies in its first week (almost half of the singer's debut album sales). Prior to this album's release, two promotional singles ("Controversy" and "Outta Time") and two singles ("Problem" and "Saturday Night") were released.
