Simply Believe opened up with Tyler's 2003 number one hit single in France: Si demain, which was a duet with French singer Kareen Antonn and a new version of Tyler's 1983 hit Total Eclipse of the Heart. Another duet her Antonn, a re-recording of Tyler's breakthrough American hit It's A Heartache was also included: Si tout s'arrĂȘte. The album heavily consists of re-recordings and Tyler recorded new versions of Holding Out for a Hero, Here She Comes, If You Were a Woman and I Was a Man, as well as two tracks from her 1995 Free Spirit album: All Night to Know You and Driving Me Wild. As well as a cover of Frankie Miller's Darlin, Simply Believe contained six original new songs.
