Album Description
Available in:
What a disappointing surprise -- a full year had elapsed since the release of Number 5 (completing a string of excellent albums by the Steve Miller Band), and the unsuspecting record buyer had every right to expect another quality product. What he got instead was this travesty of generic white-boy bluesisms, recorded live but sounding dead. In retrospect, the title track can be heard as a precursor to "The Joker," but there is no reason to own this album except to wonder if the Steve Miller Band was really this boring in concert, and if so, why it was documented.
