How do you like your power metal? Fast? Soaring vocals? Songs about evil rising? Unstoppable double bass? If that is describing what you are looking for then you’re in luck because LANCER brings it all in spades. Sure, there isn’t anything here that hasn’t been done before but, these days, everything under the sun has been done. It isn’t what you do but how you do it. LANCER does is so well that it’s almost scary and in that process they end up not really sounding like anyone else on the scene.
Although it is obviously early in the year, this album will without a doubt go down as one of the best Power/Prog releases of 2017. --- metal-temple.com
