Delays' vocalist Greg Gilbert, wrote 100 new songs whilst touring their Top 20 debut album, Faded Seaside Glamour, but unfortunately, his brother and bandmate Aaron lost the only copy of the demos. This loss forcedcontrol freak Greg to let the rest of the band take some of the pressure in recording the follow up 'You See Colours'. The result is a more assured and confident band.

The album features some surprises - "Lillian" contains squelchy electro backed onto an indie anthem whilst single "Valentine" pulses out an 80s synth bassline that is very much at home on the dancefloor. Delays have never seen the shame in writing pop (even if it is with an intellectual twist) and You See Colours is a breath of fresh air amongst the spiky punk-rock bands of today.
