Album Description
Available in:
The Naked Truth is the fourth studio album by rapper Lil' Kim, released on September 27, 2005. This album was released on the first day of Kim's sentencing, in which she went to jail for nearly a year on perjury charges. It was her last studio album released by Atlantic Records before deciding to part ways in 2008. Compared to her previous three albums, The Naked Truth is Kim's least commercially successful album. Two official singles were released from the album: "Lighters Up" as the lead single released in September 2005 while "Whoa" served as the second and final single in February 2006.

User Album Review
...this is the best album Kim has produced since her debut...
Maxine Headley 2005
Never one to shy away from controversy or - as it turns out -prison, Naked Truth is about a woman's rage, as Lil' Kim declares herself to be 'No more Ms nice bitch.'
Throughout this fourth solo album she unapologetically delivers subliminal jabs and outright name-calling to pretty much everyone, including Foxy Brown, 50 Cent, and evenher former rap collective Junior M.A.F.I.A..
If you look past the continuous references to the late Notorious B.I.G.(yeah, we get the message!), lyrically and stylistically this is the best album Kim has produced since her debut Hardcore. Funny, it is often said that an artist's best work comes as a result of adversity...guess a few flunking stars need to start committing crimes.
