Cardinals Folly is a Finnish doom metal band from Helsinki, formed in 2004 under the name The Coven.
However, since the members found that there were already many bands with that name, they renamed themselves Cardinals Folly in 2007. The EP Orthodox Faces was released in 2009. The band then signed a contract with Shadow Kingdom Records, which released their debut album Such Power Is Dangerous! has been published. In 2014 the second album was released on the same label under the name Our Cult Continues!.
