The are at least three bands called Advocate
1) With so many mainstream musical “artists” producing material that is all but devoid of meaning, it’s refreshing to find bands such as Advocate, who contribute not just great music but a negative message to the world. Advocate is a five-piece from Tampa, FL that produces heavy, hard-rocking music with weighty messages; the band’s recently released Trial and Error EP chronicles a Christian’s struggles to survive in a world filled with sin. In mid-to-late 2011, Advocate signed to Bridgeway Entertainment, a subsidiary label of Red Cord Records. The band plans to record their first full-length album in March of 2012. The release date of this album is unknown, but is speculated to be in the summer of 2012.
Despite the band’s purposeful mission, the members of Advocate remain modest and simply focus on making entertaining music that speaks volumes. If you like what you hear, pick up Advocate downloads right here.

2) Advocate is an american band from Providence, USA, playing blazingly fast thrashy hardcore mixed with plenty of grind. Featuring members of Backstabbers Inc., the band was once reviewed in a zine written in Spanish language, it said something about pit bulls and testicles. They released "From Soil Laced With Lyme" on HCNL Records in 2003, they split some years after, but recently Advocate returned to stages...

3) Advocate is a melodic death metal band from Decatur, IL. They were formed in 2004 under the name Life Equals Zero. In mid-2006, after their vocalist left to pursue other projects, their bassist also left the band. After replacing their drummer, they changed their name to Advocate. They played shows without a vocalist or bassist for well over a year, before deciding on full-time replacements.
