There are several different bands named Pollen described on this page.

One was a pop punk band originally from Pittsburgh, then moved to Tempe, AZ. Pollen was Dan Hargest (Vocals), Kevin Scanlon (Guitar), Chris Serafini (Bass), Mike Bennett (Guitar), and Bob Hoag (Drums). Bob was the primary songwriter. They disbanded in 2001.

Releases include Bluette (Grass Records - 1994), Crescent (Grass Records - 1995), Peach Tree (Wind-Up Records - 1997), Chip (Fueled By Ramen, 2000). They also release a split album with the band Co-Ed.

An unrelated band was founded by singer and songwriter Lindsay Black in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1998.

Collaborators include the great and the good of the Edinburgh music scene: Donald Hay (Drums), Andy Powers (double bass), Ali McInnes (guitar/vocals), Ady Powers (guitar/vocals), Heather Macleod (vocals), Mary Macmaster (harp/vocals), Gus McInnes (bass), Alex Weir (trumpet), Kris Drever (double bass), Jo Peat (bass), Andy Gunn (guitar), Si Tomlinson (bass). David Dutton (drums).

Also a slack rock outfit from Australia in the mid 1990s. Produced one EP and one Album.

In the 70's a progressive rock band from Quebec named Pollen released one LP. Pollen was lead by Jacques Tom Rivest's vocals, bass, and acoustic guitar; Sylvian Coutu on the drums and vibraphone; Claude Lemay on the keyboard and flute; and Richard Lemoyne electric and acoustic guitar.

Pollen is also the name of a hardcore punk / d-beat band from Philadelphia, PA. The band shares members with fellow bands Aseptic, Pissbath, and Ectoplasm.
