The band was conceived by Ricky Lee Brawn as an "all-star" band comprising musicians who had become well-known in other bands.
Ricky and Anders were both in The Stargazers in the early '80s
Mike Sanchez was the front-man of the Big Town Playboys
Pat Reyford was the front-man of Sugar Ray Ford and the Hotshots
Al Nicholls and Nick Lunt were highly respected saxophone players on the rock'n'roll, rhythm'n'blues, and swing scenes.

The reunion show was in 2012 at Viva Las Vegas, and for 2013 at the Summer Jamboree in Senigallia, Italy.
