Inverse is a hip hop group from Los Angeles, California, consisting of two rappers: Tunji (born Olatunji Balogun, June 18, 1983, and Toby (born Toby Scott Ganger, January 22, 1982). They are closely affiliated with Kentucky hip-hop group and CunninLynguists and the QN5 Music label, though the group is unsigned.

The two rappers met in early 2001 and began working together on demos, appearing on releases from CunninLynguists and Swedish producer Soul Supreme in 2005. The group's first project, So Far (The Collection), was released for free via the internet on New Years Day, 2008, garnering the group a substantial online following through distribution on hip hop blogs, messageboards, and Myspace.com. Their followup project So True EP was supposed to be released on New Years Day 2009, but was delayed until on January 7, 2009. The EP was also released as a free download via the group's blog.
