TEŠKA INDUSTRIJA is Bosnian rock band formed in Sarajevo in 1974. They combined many different influences in their music, such as hard rock, progressive rock and folk elements, thus creating interesting and recognizable sound. From 1974-1977 they released 3 albums ("Ho-ruk"-1976, "Teška Industrija"-1976, "Zasviraj i za pojas zadjeni"-1977) and 7 singles and than disbanded. Guitarist Vedad Hadžiabdić reformed the band in 1984 with the new line-up and they released their 4th album "Ponovo sa vama" ("With You Again") and soon disbanded again. TEŠKA INDUSTRIJA reappeared in 1996 with the new album, "Ruže u asfaltu". Recently (2007), some members of the original 1974 line-up (Gabor Lengyl-keyboards, Seid Memić Vajta-vocals, Vedad Hadžiabdić-guitars and Ivica Propadalo-bass) reunited and recorded the new album, "Kantina", released in 2007. The band is currently active.
