Washington DC natives Tha Beggas, at times confused with the spelling The Beggaz, is a HIP HOP group who was featured on The Swarm album on a song called On The Strength. The group consisted of members: Long Axe, Dragonfly, Mega Soul, Scorpion, Samo Heung, Begga Ooh, Bolo Gah, Buda Love, Jim Kelly, Majik Sword, Yukon Black and Father Lord. Before Lord's death, he worked on 2 unreleased songs "Get Something" & "Deadly Act" (featuring Prince Hasaan) and his alias is Wu-Chi and killed in a car accident on June 13, 1997. After the death of Father Lord, the group split up and eventually went with names like Black Lotus & Hidden Aspects with some tending to their own solo projects. The producer of On the Strength who was King Cee - Bolo Gah along with Begga Ooh managed to get a project called Blood Sweat and Years formulated which may be the closest to a solid Begga Album release.
