Sambo is a musical group of Brazilian rock / samba formed in Ribeirão Preto in 2006. The band is comprised of musicians from different strands of music, like rock, pop and samba, created a unique style that they named "rock-samba in order to differentiate the samba-rock ," the group's repertoire, classic rocks are interpreted with typical instruments of a samba. Currently the band consists of Sudu Lisi (battery ), Daniel San (voice and percussion), Joe Peace (tambourine), Max Leandro (deaf and wheel), Ricardo Gama (keyboard) and Julius Fejuca (guitar, banjo and ukulele). One of the original members, Savio Penha (cavaquinho) left the group and currently plays in Group Bamboa.
The band has performed alongside established musicians like Seu Jorge, Jair Rodrigues, Luciana Mello, Wilson and Sidney Magal Simoninha.
In 2010 the group produced a CD and DVD homonyms by Radar Records label. Made cameo, appearing for three consecutive days in the week from 17 to 21 October 2011, the novel juvenile Malhação Globo, as well as touching on one of the festivals of the program Big Brother Brazil 12, the same broadcaster.
