Avenged Sevenfold (używany skrót: A7X) – amerykański zespół pochodzący z Kalifornii. Powstał w 1999 roku. Dwa pierwsze albumy utrzymane są w stylu metalcore, na kolejnych grupa ewoluowała i całkowicie odmieniła swój styl, który trudno jednoznacznie zakwalifikować.

Jedynie w Stanach Zjednoczonych album City of Evil sprzedał się w 700 tysiącach egzemplarzy, docierając do pierwszej 30 notowania Billboard. Zespół w roku 2006 był zapraszany na największe festiwale rockowe: Ozzfest, Rock am Ring.
