Album DescriptionAvailable in:
This was the debut recording by Wisconsin's C.W.A. It was released as the Green Bay Packers football team were ascending to elite status in the NFL. Former Tuff lead vocalist Steve Rachelle was at the helm of this silly group who rewrote the lyrics to popular songs to take on football themes. Receiving airplay on television and radio sports shows across the nation were "Cheesehead Baby," adapted from Beck's "Loser," and a takeoff on Tennessee Ernie Ford's "Sixteen Games." Music by Tone Loc, the Beastie Boys, and Rick Rubin also provided inspiration for this group.
