User Album Review
The e-zine Laut.de gave Ehrensache four out of a possible five rating points. In the opinion of editor Dani Fromm, nothing in Alpa Gun's lyrics seems artificial and he reports everything "so full of conviction that it's hard not to believe him." A recurring theme is the settling of accounts "with his former comrades-in-arms". In the guest contributions, Fler is praised above all, who, according to Fromm, deserves "fullest recognition". Moe Mitchell, on the other hand, presents a "hook that takes some getting used to." The productions, most of which were contributed by the Beathoavenz, receive praise in the review. The duo make "'Meister Aller Klassen' sound like a pompous sandal movie" and "'Almanya' sound like it has sprung directly from the cultural divide between Orient and Occident". Furthermore, the song Alpa Gun 2012 by DJ Rocky is underlaid "with fluffy G-funk flavor, as if straight from the early West Coast".
