Available in:
Ride Across the River is a song by the British rock band Dire Straits. It first appeared as the sixth track on the band's 1985 multi-platinum selling album "Brothers in Arms" (1985). It is far different to the bands other works, with Latino-style beats and flutes. The lyrics are about guerrilla warfare.

At 6:58, "Ride Across the River" is the fourth longest song on the album. The song opened the second side of the original LP. It was never released as a single. The song was used in the Miami Vice episode "Knock Knock, Who's There?".
