Re: Matching album names containing invalid file path characters

I would like to test this before rolling it out fully to the new strAlbumStripped field.

Hows this for a example set of 500 albums:

http://www.theaudiodb.com/blank.php

currently removing these characters:

Code: Select all

array('!', '@', '#','$', '%', '^','&', '*', '(',')', '_', '-','+', '\'', '[',']','{','}',';',':','"','<','>','|');

Just got back from abroad, I'll have some code ready for testing in a few days.

How do I perform the actual search? Adding "&i=1" or something else?

You don't yet ;)

I was just checking the character removal is OK with you before I actually add it to a new database field.

Are the above examples what you want?

Ah... :)

As far as I can tell, these characters missing :
1. "="
2. "~"
3. "?"
4. ","
5. "."
6. "`" (not " ' " which you already included)
